Volunteers provide 100% of the hours needed to achieve the mission of the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet.

To volunteer:
1. Review the volunteer opportunities below. There is something here for everyone.
2. Review Requirements of an AIFC Volunteer. (Click link to Volunteer Requirements.)
3. Print and complete your Volunteer Application, mail it to the address on the form, or bring it to the Food
Closet. (Click link to Volunteer Application.)
4. You will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator to schedule the next step.

Bag, sort and stock food for clients.

Register clients at the front desk. Customer service and computer skills required.

Pick up food from stores or residential gardens using your own vehicle and deliver it to the Food Closet.

Take responsibility for leading a small group of volunteers in daily warehouse operations.

Serve on a committee to achieve goals of collecting food and raising money.

Perform office tasks, and/or assist with computer needs, which may include word processing, data entry, graphic design, Excel spreadsheets, or QuickBooks.

Use your talents and skills to provide oversight to the Food Closet.
